“I never miss a chance to get a Doyle’s Chicago dog. Every time I’m in the Lake Mills area I stop in even if to just get one for later. I’ve been there many times and always a great experience. I was there during the Christmas season last year and dined in. As I was enjoying my delicious meal Mr Doyle came and handed me a Doyle’s dog ornament. Was a very nice gesture and will be added to my tree each year. Today my wife and 2 kids stopped down for the town and county days but got there pretty late. I checked to see if Doyle’s was open downtown, I was too late. I thought on our way out about 3:30 that I’d swing by the stand and see if they were still open. They were not, however as I slowly turned the corner Mr Doyle spotted me looking at the stand and could tell I was there to get food. He waived me over and said he’d be happy to get me and my family a meal. He was just about packed up and ready to leave so we said no we don’t want to impose but he insisted it was no problem. He took our order and promptly returned with 4 hot dogs and even put in extra popsicles. We asked how much and he said don’t worry it’s on him. We handed him the little cash we had left and he said no thank you but we insisted. He then said no problem I’ll put it in our donation bin. Not only did he re open for us but he also didn’t want our money. The generosity and kindness of this local business owner is extraordinary. If you have a chance to stop by Doyle’s don’t miss it. It’ll always be a wonderful experience and fantastic food. Thank you Mr Doyle”

“We had our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs space and it was perfect! The staff were willing to work with us on the menu, which included large salad bowl and multiple pizzas. The food was excellent and well priced for what we needed. Our guests loved the upstairs space, being able to sit outside, and of course the selection of beer downstairs!!!”

“Did you know they only serve food till 8pm? Asked to order a burger at 8:03pm was told no. On a Thursday wow. website states 9pm on Thursdays. Best part go there for my sister's bday. No bday tickets no glass . Bartender said nothing. Till I asked then we were told they are all out. They did take $1 off our drinks. No picture taken for there FB page. They weren't even that busy. Oh well I guess lesson learned. Happy Birthday Sis anyways.”

“If I could leave more stars, I WOULD! First- it’s my birthday, and I love Chinese food. The place in Jefferson is closed. So trusty google to the rescue. I find Ming’s, place an online order and head over to pick it up. Me and my two kiddos are instantly greeted by a nice young man. I say we are early and we are okay waiting. My one kiddo puts a quarter she has been carrying around all day in a toy machine. My younger toddler sees this and starts a no nap tantrum. The clerk grabs a quarter to give her. At this point I am praying to food is good so I can keep coming back to support this amazing employee. Food is out in less than 10minutes. My girls ate all their food. ALLLLL THEEEEIR FOOD!!! Mom ate all of hers, too- but that is less exciting haha. Seriously food and service was amazing. A great way to round out my birthday! We will be coming again. Thank you.”

“We had an excellent chicken taco salad. The chicken was moist. We also ordered chicken fajitas which were excellent! The churros with whip cream and chocolate sauce was a perfect ending to our meal.”

“Great place that has been serving burgers for close to 100 years. Deep fried in lard these sliders (0.2lbs each) go down easy. I would get 2-3 of these depending on hunger. They come "with" or "without" (fried onions) and also have the optional slice of cheese.”

“I would just like to give a huge shout out to Culvers in Lake Mills WI! My daughter, granddaughter and some of their friends, had a house fire. This was a total loss. Culvers reached out and offered some food coupons for the kids! It feels so good to see so much community support and love. You guys are a blessing. “Pizza is always undercooked even when you specifically ask for it to be crispy and crunchy! I don't want chewy bread with cheese and sauce on it. I also ordered thin crust, and it was pretty thick. :-( Never ordering again, the last time I am cooking delivery pizza for an additional 15 minutes. Looks like it was cooked for maybe 10 minutes. The crust wasn't even browned, and then they put my cold cucumber sauce in with the pizza, so now it is soup, and went into the garbage.”
