4.7/5 superb ice cream shop. In the age where lots of ice creams have a lot of additives and are made super creamy, it was refreshing to taste ice cream in its original form. I had the strawberry and cookies and cream for $6 and healthy sized portions. Both of the flavours were amazing and tasted quite simple and great. Not overly sweet or creamy. Just good old fashioned ice cream made from quality ingredients! Highly recommend!
The sandwiches are very delicious. I loved the Bucky’s Veg Out. I tried the Blueberry Swirl ice cream, no lie, it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s so rich and creamy and the blueberry flavor tasted so fresh and strong. Better than Chocolate Shoppe! Service was helpful and great, food was excellent, and the whole experience was fantastic. So cool that the cows live right here on campus and dairy products are made right here on campus! Highly recommend!
The ice cream here is delicious. I've since learned that you can get Babcock Dairy ice cream in several other places on campus, so you don't really have to go to the dairy store, but it's a nice place.Unfortunately most of their ice creams use beef gelatin, and as a vegetarian that rules them out. This is a shame - I doubt this affects the flavor or texture much compared to a vegetarian option, and I wish they would modernize their recipe.
