I've always had good experiences with the pastries here (the salted caramel brownies are especially good), but this was the first time I purchased a cake. $55 for the 6'' Signature Birthday Cake, and the cake was wet, not moist, around the filling. I took it out of the fridge 2.5 hours before serving and the recommendation was to do so 2-3 hours beforehand. I tried it again four hours out of the fridge and the rest of the cake that was not wet is noticeably dry...
Outstanding bakery in Madison with great bread, pastries and sandwiches. Everything I've tried has been amazing! Highly recommend a visit. Some of their pastries can also be found at local coffee shops (Alice Good).
Bloom is a must anytime we are in Madison. Every pastry, dessert, bread, etc that we’ve had is delicious. Special mentions: morning bun, cruffin, any croissant, cinnamon roll and focaccia are a few of our favorites! You can tell each person takes pride in what they do and care about the product they are creating. Amazing!
