Went to Cadre for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The mocktails were insanely tasty. The fromage cheese plate was a great way to start the meal. The wagyu steak and duck breast entrees were worth shedding a tear over 🥹 and the crème brûlée was like the fall season in a dessert. Service was exceptional and the chef came out to thank us for being the first to order the wagyu. Highly recommend!
I wanted to treat myself to fabulous French-inspired cuisine for my birthday and decided to give Cadre my first try 4 years ago. I was actually impressed then and still impressed now! When I pay for a lovely dining experience, I expect prompt service and perfectly cooked food - thank you Cadre for executing that!
Go support this wonderful local restaurant! The food is outstanding—and with a menu that rotates every few months to showcase flavors from different regions of France, there’s always something new to enjoy. Every dish is beautifully presented, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The chef, who owns the restaurant with his wife (the gracious hostess), is a genuinely kind person and was named Madison Magazine’s 2025 Chef of the Year—a well-deserved honor.
