Cafe Domestique - Willy Street

This coffee shop is a hidden gem! It is very small, so don't expect to find a quiet chair to do work, especially on the weekends. The coffee, however, is excellent. The baristas work quickly to put together excellent drinks. They also offer some interesting syrup flavors, which I assume are handmade. Will for sure be back again.

Love it. Even though I barely get time to be there. The vibe there just brings me a better day. I mean it really prolly don't matter I just have to have my daily cup.

Some of the best espresso drinks in Madison. My favorite was ube latte and now I think I need to go every weekend! The sitting area is a bit small in the Willy street area but service is fast and the area is cute for takeout coffee and stroll. Highly recommend.

really chaotic and uncomfortable experience. the man that barely took our order was not attentive or welcoming in any way. you could clearly tell he was irritated or bothered by a mom and her kids, but instead of welcoming a customer or having a way to reach resolution he was unprofessional. the lady was also rude and not organized.

It seemed like they made their own syrups in-house, and they had a ton of exciting, fresh flavors. As frequent coffee-goers and foodies, we loved the opportunity to try their ube latte.

My partner and I love to go here and it’s our go to coffee shop. The espresso is delicious 9/10 times which is rare for a coffee shop. During the week we usually get super friendly service but we’ve noticed on the weekends there’s one barista who is really rude. As someone in the coffee industry it makes me really sad when I am friendly myself and give a good tip and receive a negative and rude interaction.

Cafe Domestique is in my top 3 coffee shops in Madison. They make superb espresso drinks, and don't drown the espresso in milk like many places. Cool location, especially for a weekend morning with the sun coming in the window or outside on the sidewalk.

Cafe Domestique I am so grateful to live right next door. Definitely my go to for a quick coffee grab in the am, the baristas are so so nice, and the coffee is very good quality. So so yum. ❣️

Super cute coffeeshop attached to a bike store. It’s small, but there’s still enough space for working. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of great drink options. I got the root beer float latte made with spechers- so good!!

Excellent coffee and a deep understanding of how unexpected flavors work together. The ube latte is a masterpiece (Filipino yam and espresso, who would have thought?)
