Mishqui Cocina Peruana Reviews
Ate at both the Downtown and the Middleton locations within the same week. Delicious food! The chicken was moist and the Chaufa rice was super delicious and filling! My wife loves getting the Purple Corn drink too. With such a huge menu, I think I’ll be trying something new next time for awhile!
I was visiting Madison for three days and looked for Peruvian food and found this wonderful restaurant .
I ordered “lomo saltado” , “causa” and “chicha morada” …absolutely delicious everything.
I really recommend this place.
I was visiting Madison for 3 days and receive the visit of a Loly’s school friend. So we look for a Peruvian restaurant with no to much hope.
And we were lucky; Mishqui was inaugurated just 3 month ago. It belongs to Cynthia Garcia, an extremely nice Peruvian chef.
The servings are surprisingly big and delicious.
Mi Papa a la huancayina y mi lomo saltado was perfect. The causa and tallarín verde deserve 5 stars.
Of course I recommend this extraordinary restaurant.
Menu
Mishqui Cocina Peruana offers excellent food with tender and flavorful dishes. The quarter chicken is a highlight, served with delicious fried rice and stir-fry veggies. Fried Fish is a popular choice, especially for those missing flavors from home. Empanadas are a must-try, with both types being tasty and amazing. The menu includes vegetarian options, such as vegan and fish dishes, which are clearly labeled. There are also many gluten-free options available. The restaurant has friendly and attentive staff, making for a pleasant dining experience at an affordable price. The pastry case and desserts are tempting, with outstanding Peruvian specialties and empanadas. The restaurant continues to improve with better service and a slightly expanded menu. It can get busy at times, and parking might be challenging. Visitors often enjoy the exquisite and flavorful food, and many leave wanting more, though fullness can sometimes prevent additional orders.
