Arguably the best meal I’ve ever had. I can’t imagine giving this place less than 5 stars. Food, service, vibe - everything was perfection. It was a fun opportunity to try a lot of different things I haven’t tasted before! Hoping to make this an annual tradition. Thanks, Nook!
The food at Nook was creative and well-executed, with thoughtful use of Southeast Asian ingredients. However, the experience was overshadowed by offensive and unprofessional behavior. A chef suggested that their server introduce a dessert with accents, including a non-existent ‘Southeast Asian accent.’ The server ultimately performed in an Irish accent, joking about not knowing what soursop is—even though it was part of the dessert. This joke only made the majority white...
