We had a great dinner here with friends. This is the best pizza I’ve had in Madison. The Margherita pizza was outstanding. The fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce have great flavor, along with the basil. My husband had the Salumetto and ate the whole thing, which is a good sign he loved it! They have a cute, and pretty quiet patio in the back. Definitely will visit again!
Food tastes great, is always quality, however: I do want to know if the head chef knows what focaccia is, or if maybe they were out and just didn't tell me when I ordered the caprese salad entree? Because what is pictured is not what I think of when I imagine a warm focaccia. Someone can correct me, maybe there's a traditional flat focaccia out there, but I'm pretty sure this is just their pizza crust with no toppings.
We love Pizza Brutta! The food is always delicious and the service has been very good each time we visited. The last time, the pizza was ready in about 5-10 minutes and I ordered onsite. It was a Wednesday around 5:00 pm at the Monroe Street location.
