I stepped onto the public sidewalk and told him he could say it to my face. A staff member, Vanessa, came outside, put her hands on me, and ordered me to leave, saying I couldn’t “yell at new patrons.” I left.
When I later tried to address it offline, someone named Isaac—who is associated with the bar—sent me a profane, insulting text instead of attempting to resolve the situation.
I’m not expecting perfection—just basic de-escalation, no unnecessary physical contact, and professional follow-up. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

The Atwood is great. They are firm believers in keeping their guests entertained. They have Wiis and other video games around with plenty of controllers to play plenty of drop-in style games.
We rented their basement last year for an event and it was great.
