Beautiful views, acoustics not so great. Had a table next to us that was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Appetizers were great, our strip steaks were very tough, but the tenderloin was great. Service was very good.
My party of three was seated, and while we waited to put in our order, we watched the staff set up a table for a party of eight. Somehow, that table of eight got seated and put in their order before us. That table had a different server than us, but it's discouraging to watch people be seated after you but somehow get their food before you, especially when their party is more than twice your size. Our server was fine, and the food was good, but probably not good enough for...
Was there for lunch a week ago. A very well located restaurant with a great view of Lake Mendota and Picnic Point. Food was good, but service was slow and the orders were also mixed up by the waiter that day. Could be better managed.
