The room service was very pleasant. However, the gentleman at the front desk seemed more preoccupied with his meal than with offering dining recommendations. Aside from that, the experience was quite enjoyable.
The view and atmosphere was nice. The staffs were very friendly. Unfortunate that the Wellington was overcooked. I understand it's hard to get Wellington right, but there should be no way medium rare comes out as well done, especially for the price. Gnocchi was also overcooked and bit mushy, but the sauce was fantastic. The soup was great too.
We had brunch here today. The food was a 10 of 10. The atmosphere was quiet and we didn't feel rushed at all. The way staff was very attentive. We were seated at a table looking out at the frozen lake. We were thrilled to watch people out on the ice, flying kites, walking, riding 4 wheels. A first hand winter weather experience while seated inside, soaking up the good good and sunshine.
