The VFW Post 7591 on Cottage Grove Road is a great organization that has a lot of things going on. The general public is welcome and encourages to come in. They hall a big hall anyone can rent out for their personal or business events… if it’s not already booked. VFW Day Post 7591 on Cottage Grove Road is a welcoming place with a variety of events for everyone. Enjoy a Great Fish Fry every Friday night with live music, including Marcy and the Highlights. The food is outstanding, fresh, and made individually with care you won't find in most chains. Your food will be buttered and crispy, and a big tub of water is available in the dining rooms for every guest.

The friendly bartender serves delicious Brandy Old Fashioneds and Shirley Temples for the kids. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with good-natured, well-intentioned people, making it a great spot to relax and have a good time.
On Fridays, you order and pay for food from the back room and drinks from the bar. They cook to order and do it well, especially if you're kind.
