Came here after reading some reviews. Breakfast was spectacular. I got country fried steak. Eggs and hashbrowns were cooked exactly as ordered. Prices are reasonable. Service was excellent. Lorraine was amazing. Definitely worth it. No complaints and one of better breakfasts I’ve had in Madison.
Dairyland is like a non-franchised version of Cracker Barrel, without the kitsch. The menu was right at the epicenter of "American cuisine". The portions were enormous and uniformly very tasty. The service was warm, competent and just the right amount of attention without being over our shoulders. The soups were particularly good. Everything certainly seemed to have been prepared fresh.
