About El Alamo Mexican Grill

El Alamo Mexican Grill offers an authentic Mexican dining experience in a familiar small-town setting. Attached to a small grocery store, customers can enjoy a meal and then pick up fresh produce or other daily necessities. The staff is friendly and attentive, with both Spanish and English speakers to assist. The menu features traditional Mexican dishes, such as enchiladas suizas, which are savory and well-seasoned. Customers also recommend the bistec Mexicana, caldo, tamales, and tacos. The restaurant is noted for its delicious beans, rice, and a Prepared Michelada. The grocery store inside has fresh produce, including some of the best avocados. The decor reflects its Mexican heritage, and the overall cleanliness and organization are praised. While the food may not be extraordinary, it generally provides a good and satisfying taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. However, some reviews mention that the chips can be stale and the salsa lacking flavor. The Lime Margarita on the Rocks is served in a large size and is noted to be on the sweeter side. Overall, the service is described as sweet, though it can be a bit slow.

the entire experience. the waitress the food the salsa the drinks all so perfect.

We ended up here on a Friday on a whim and I’m so glad it happened. The best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. The salsas are amazing. We had Al pastor, Barbacoa, chorizo, and the camarones. We will be back.

Food seems much more authenticly Mexican than most Mexican restaurants; it would fit well beside meals I have had on Mexico. This is more of a budget type restraunt; the food not amazing, but is good for the price you pay. I had the combo #3 and an order of guacamole. I wish the plate came with more lime; the guac was solid, but I prefer more salt and more spice.

I would come back
