“We stoped in while we were in town visiting family. Decided to pack our cooler FULL for the trip back to Florida. Everyone in the shop was extremely helpful and nice. One of the ladies even boxed up all our goodies! Honest will only be ordering butter from them from now on!“

“Transport yourself back to a simpler time and visit Beerntsen’s in Manitowoc. It was originally founded in 1932 by Joseph Beernsten and remain a family owned business until 2003. The new owners, Dean Schadrie and his family have a background in making chocolate and stated that they would keep it the exact same. I had not been here since I was probably in my early teens and 30 years later it was everything I remembered growing up. I was even able to get the same sundae, the Teddy Bear, that I got as a child, and it was EXACTLY as I had remembered. Even the menu was the same! They have 32 different sundae options for you to choose from. They also have a small lunch menu. Afterwards I had to get some chocolates and taffy. “I am very particular about my coffee. I drink a lot of coffee and was a trucker, drank coffee from different places though out the country. Everyone always gives raves about all the coffee shops but drink it with cream, sugar and other stuff and don't know the difference of good nor bad cup. I drink it black. Her coffee does not taste like a burnt couch like the rest of the shops. And at $2.75 for a medium cup is well worth it! Starbucks can learn things from this little coffee shop! Outstanding business!“

“The store is always clean, cashiers are always energized and pleasant and very patient. The ice cream is always delicious. Don’t forget to check out the Beach Day sundae very tasty.

“A popular stop post Packers game! The line to order was a bit confusing but we eventually got our food. Waiting for the made to order, fresh food was excellent. Plenty of clean space inside. We took our fish and chips and the burger kids meal to go, and the food held up nicely. The food as always it hot and fresh, along with the frozen custard. Enjoy!“

“I was there yesterday and Taliah was very nice and very hard working. She greeted me with a smile and seemed like she genuinely cared about the customers. Out of all the workers I seen there that day, she seemed the most respectful and the most hard working. If I were to come there again, I will be asking for Taliah.“

“I have purchased the Wisconsin Mix 3 times. The first 2 were amazing, but the butter and cheese in the mix of this last order is stale and not crunchy. I’m sure this is a fluke and am reaching out to them, but I would still order it again…it’s that good!“

“Great location, easy access and lots of parking space. Very nice eating area lobby, except for the very noisy cake cooler. Not at all busy and service was fairly quick. I tried the Mixing Bowl Mashup limited-time blizzard, and it was a good substitute for my usual Choco Brownie Extreme. It was, however, a bit softer and more melty than it should have been.“
