“Such an incredible value! The big Al burger was huge and was done perfectly! The bun was lightly toasted and the fried onions on top were nicely caramelized. It's hard to find a place to eat where you walk out feeling like you got your money's worth. This place is the real deal. Friendly and quick service as well.“
“Stopped in to pick-up some take and bake pizzas; The sub smelled delicious so we decided to try a Chicken! ? And Philly, the subs were equally good. The Philly tasted more like a "hot-beef sandwich" than a Philly to me. The Chicken! Was okay...cold shredded chicken with lettuce tomato onion pickles, and mayo. I added banana peppers and cucumbers to my surprise it was $1 a piece that was quite a shock, besides that, prices were decent. Lastly, the atmosphere was fantastic! Roomy, large tables, super clean, with nice music playing in the background. The staff was super nice and we will definitely go again soon!“
“I highly recommend Brain Freeze ice cream over all other subpar places in the area !I've been here several times and the top notch service and staff never disappoint me.I met the owner today , I believe her name is Dee . What an amazing person! She interacted with my 4 year old grandson , I'm so happy she made an effort and time for him .COMBAT VETERAN APPROVED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️“
“Cute and quaint, old style little custard and burger joint, plus so much more. The custard is top notch and to die for. Even the vanilla does something to me! Their depiction of a blizzard, "the scramble" is amazing and 50 to 100 times better than DQ, and the best sundaes around these parts. Love the switching up of specialty flavors, and love sneaking away here in the summer every now and again for a treat when we can visit the area.Kid-friendliness: Tight and limited space inside if it's busy. But there is a nice patio area in the warmer times of year to enjoy, also Green Isle park is near by. Tons of options for the kids of all ages! Definitely kid friendly. :)“
“We loveeeee coming here. The vanilla milkshakes are my favorite. Every time we order we always pick something new from the menu. It was my first time trying hot Cheetos with corn. Sounds gross, but it was surprisingly really good! We would order more if it wasn’t so far from our home. Hope to visit soon! Great, small place. Inexpensive too“
“We catered The Dough Shoppe for our wedding dessert and rented their "Chip" cart. It was a HIT! We loved all of the different flavors and that there were options that accounted for dietary restrictions (i.e. vegan, gf), plus they were all delicious! Cannot recommend more, especially if you are looking for something other than your typical cake or cupcake!“
“This is a really fun place! There are so many flavors of yogurts, and there were a couple non-dairy sorbet options as well. The toppings are fun, and there are some healthy options like coconut and nuts. A little pricey, and they make the cups so big, so we had to be careful not to fill them too full, or you'll be walking out with a ten dollar dessert! Fun atmosphere.“
“I've always had good experiences with this small local chain. Their custard is just fantastic. The single scoop is a great portion size for one without going overboard, and they've got a calendar on their website of all the flavors of the month. I love how all their locations have the same flavor and I don't need to go looking in five different places to figure out what they are serving. Good service, good food.“
“First, I’m going to preface this with the fact that I’m a spoiled man. I have lived in Philadelphia, New York, LA, Washington D.C., Seattle, and Miami. All of these places have spectacular food cultures because the people that live there made the food while in their homelands from the time they were children. Here in Wisconsin, the Ice Cream is amazing! Why? Of course because we’re in the heart of the Dairy Land of the world. But Gelato is a little different. It can be as much an art as it is a science. And Sara’s is very good. It’s just not the caliber of the gelato that I personally have had. Again, I’m spoiled. But, with all that said, I would be willing to bet that the average Sconnie will find Sara’s gelato to be delicious! The flavors are creative and the staff was all very nice. The place is immaculate! Which can be tough when serving children that are not the neatest eaters when it comes to cones. So… GO! Its worth the trip.“
