Please reopen, best food and atmosphere in the area, possibly all of northern Wisconsin
We had a fabulous meal from start to finish. The River Otter Cocktail is a delicious way to try a “smoked” drink. Our steaks were grilled to perfection and the scallops were incredible. Your Creme Brûlée is scrumptious. A “Thank You” to all the staff that made our dinner special.
A 10/10 experience every time! My fiancé and I choose this restaurant for every special occasion, or even just a regular night out. Some of our favorite dishes are the New York strip, the prime rib (only available on Saturdays), and the seafood alfredo! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and there’s always so many yummy dessert options available too! Highly recommended and cannot wait to return!

The food is great, with standout dishes like the tenderloin cooked perfectly rare and the baked french onion soup, which features bread balls and plenty of cheese. The menu has a wide selection, focusing on steak, fish, salmon, and a variety of soups, sides, and appetizers. The staff, including the wait staff and bartender, are friendly and provide attentive service, embodying warm Midwest charm. The exterior may show its age, but the inside retains a beautifully nostalgic feel with its large bar and scenic view. Reservations are recommended, as it can get busy, especially with larger parties. Customers praise the great food, including the delicious perch fish fry, wild mushroom ravioli, and perfectly cooked steaks. The friendly service, with staff going the extra mile, and the outstanding salmon and street corn dishes, make this a highly recommended spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
