Walked in to a server running around doing everything. He was all over the place. There was no host when we walked in so, GEORGE K walked past us 3 times. 1st time he said hello welcome to Applebee's, 2nd time he said someone will be right with you, 3rd time he stopped and asked if we would be ok with a table as he could sit us in his section. He sat us at our table and came back 2-3 minutes later. Memorized our order (didn't write anything down). I asked him if he was the only one working. He apologized about the wait and stated that he was training someone.We stated it was ok. He was very tentative to our requests and made sure we were doing ok. He was hosting, serving and even bussing his own tables (unbelievable). He was also behind the bar getting drinks TWICE. Bartender nose deep in his phone. Here is were the 1 star comes in. After looking around and seeing GEORGE K all over the restaurant. There were managers and I am assuming a carside female employee just standing at the bar. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE was helping him out. Employees just on their phones or just sitting around. GEORGE K handled everything perfectly, professionally, and quickly. PHENOMENAL employee you have there. However, shame on the other people not doing anything to help him out. It was very frustrating to not see teamwork from the managers. Give GEORGE K a raise before you lose him to another company who will appreciate the hard work and dedication his puts forth in his job. To GEORGE K: you were an exceptional server and other people sitting around us noticed it as well. You definitely deserve the big tip you got and wish we could have given you more. Keep up the good work.

Me and my daughter went to the Applebees in Menomonee falls today and was treated unfairly, we walked in no one greeted us for like 3 minutes, a few worker's looked over at us and didn't say a word by the time it had been 5 minutes,then a young man said y'all will be seated in a minute well that minute turned into 3 more minute,and they still didnt seat us.My daughter said mom lets leave causes clearly they don't want our business!! Sad day!!! favorite restaurant!! Don't understand!

Surprised at so many negative reviews. We came here for lunch, … server was right there, brought our drinks, took our orders, food arrived promptly and was delicious. I had the Asian chicken salad and French onion soup, enjoyed them both. Will probably come more often.
