I love that it's made to order and always delicious!!
I order from here whenever I am able to visit Menomonie. I always love ordering my favorite which is the chicken fried rice and the cream cheese wantons, I also love their chicken lo mein. They always get the food out quick, and it’s always cooked to perfection.
I loved this restaurant while living in Menomonie for 18 yrs. I was addicted to their egg rolls and the aromatic chicken. I often ordered it for my sister when she was in the nursing home. The chef was always accommodating when I'd ask him to go light on the spicy heat. I moved to Florida 5 years ago and really miss their food. I even tried googling a recipe but after trying them all, they all were flops compared to this restaurant.

Fortune Cookie Restaurant offers delicious Chinese dishes at affordable prices. The veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, and cream cheese wontons are highly recommended. Meals are generous and pretty cheap, with leftovers often providing a second meal. The lo mein is really good. The inside has a nice aesthetic but the atmosphere is not good and the room is very stuffy with no indoor dining. Service is friendly but sketch. Despite being reasonably priced, note that only cash is accepted.
