“Normally we have good luck at the Chancery. Not the case yesterday. I went with my six year old, clearly a “kid” but the seating host didn’t give us a kids menu. I had to go ask for one. I ordered the California wrap with no onions or avocado because I have some food sensitivities. It came with no onions or tomato. I didn’t realize this until I was about halfway through eating it. Thankfully it’s just sensitivity and not an allergy. The cheese on my son’s grilled cheese was barely melted. I could clearly see where each slice of cheese was placed. When the server brought our bill, he did not bring a pen to sign my slip. A bunch of little things but they added up. Hopefully our next experience will be better.“

“We arrived early on Friday for fish fry. Greeted by friendly staff immediately and sat in separate dining area away from bar. Family and kid friendly. They have both high chair and booster seats for toddler. We had a party of 6 which included a 16 month old. We ordered Perch, baked cod, regular cod, cheese burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and a variety of cheese cakes. Our food was excellent and served hot. The cheesecakes were a good. The service was exceptional, they were just starting their Friday meal time so about 3 tables came in shortly after us we were the first.“

We came in from St. Louis and I knew I wanted to have birthday drinks with my husband and kiddo here on Wednesday evening when we were in town! It didn’t disappoint. The wildfire smoke had cleared quite a bit, the sky was sparkling, and it was a gorgeous evening to sit on the patio and enjoy our drinks. I had the spritzer, my husband had the summer Mule, and our son had the kiddie cocktail with cotton candy. The overall vibe of the place is just perfection, from the second you walk inside until you find a spot to hang on the patio. I wish we didn’t live six hours away. We’d be regulars! “At in Wonderland diner today for lunch. Amazing food, our waiter Ben double checked if certain things were safe for me (I'm gluten free). Had a gluten free bun for my burger. If you are gluten free or not I highly recommend this place!“

“This place always has some great options on tap and they have a few cans as well. I had some great IPAs, and a few Belgian style ales, all excellent. The beer prices were a bit steep for a 4 oz pour, but they are unique and well selected. There were nice spots outdoors in the sun as well as inside. I played a quick game of pacman on a mini video game sitting on a shelf with other games (card, video, dice, etc.).“

Came out lightning fast, and worth every penny paid.This is not a place to go when you're feeling like eating someplace fancy. The building has a history to it that shows in the classic homey bar way. This IS a place to go when you just want to sit at a bar enjoying fantastic soul food spins and get away from the typical bar food fare.Food was so tasty, it all disappeared before I even thought of taking a photo. So instead I'm attaching a photo of the food from my neighbor who ordered the fish and attests to it too being delicious“

“We went to Wise Guys Thursday at North 48. It was such a fun night with great service and amazing cocktails.

North 48 also has a huge liquor selection and fresh juices for mixed drinks which I thought was a really nice touch.“
