While visiting Milwaukee from Michigan, we have been trying to find a good local ice cream shop. We stumbled upon The Purple Door this evening, and the only thing I'm sad about is that tomorrow is our last day. The ice cream was phenomenal and we received great service. We'll definitely go back for one last visit during our trip, but I'm finding myself wondering if we'd be able to keep some pints frozen during our 6.5 hour drive home. Milwaukee location sadly to say had rude staff and their customer satisfaction is non existent. I’m not the first one apparently to say this. I’ll be sharing my experiences privately with owner but I’m not holding my breath. As an event planner who brings lots of business to Milwaukee and local businesses, I will not be referring them as a place to visit to my thousands of members. Good luck!
