“This is a hidden gem on Madison campus with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. The food is tasty, portions are generous, and prices are very affordable for students. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the scenery.
Parking is difficult on school days so prepare yourself to walk or plan where to park before going in here.“

“They had a glitch with their online order; let me order Prime Rib on a day that they did not serve; when I arrived to pickup, they had no online order for me, even though I received a confirmation. They prepared another steak meal - but it was excellent!! Great flavor!! When ordering online, may want to double check they received the order.“
“I love the Mason, been going there for years. Love how basically nothing has changed, always great beer on tap, liquor selection and you have the option to order food from Falbos and enjoy it with an amazing beer that has been carefully catered. Everytime I have a chance to go out and enjoy a relaxing and refreshing experience I go to the Mason, shout out to Matt!“

“The food is simple (sandwich, salads, burger and a few other options) but tasty. The staff is friendly and makes sure yi ur experience is good, and the decor is nice. Bonus point for the nice selection of whisky and spirits, great for a restaurant. Also, during happy hour a few items are very fairly priced. Went twice, loved it both times, and will come back again. Thank you for the hard work!“
“Love the variety of drinks, and they're mixed well (their dirty martinis are excellent). Cool chill rock vibe, and they always have TVs on with random movies. If they mess up an order, they'll correct it with no problem. Great folks!“

“Be cognizant of what you order. You can still get regular mixers and beers for a reasonable price (pshhh they even have deals sometimes). The food is actually very good, just pricey for what it is, but it's a frickin' movie theater what do you want?Treat it like you would any bar and tip well. These guys work hard. :)

“Once you stumble into this hole in the all...you may never return. There is a diamond so bright in this place. Your shoes might stick a bit to the floor but embrace the vibe. They have some awesome ambiance and sling drinks even the stiffest of barflys will live!“
