A.A. Wok Zone Chinese Restaurant

My co-worker and I were looking for a quick lunch stop yesterday and gave Wok Zone a shot. Good ol' American Chinese food, no frills, just the basics, done well. I tried the Shrimp with Broccoli and my friend had the curried noodles. Everything was delicious! The sauces for both dishes were perfectly seasoned and my shrimp were tender, not tough and chewy. If I could give 6 stars I would. I have not had better Chinese in Milwaukee. Try it. You will like it. Egg rolls yummy. I believe they are hand made not frozen stuff. We usually get the honey chicken combo and general tso chicken. There gravy tastes better than other Chinese restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

I got the Kung Pao chicken lunch special. It was really underwhelming. Like many 'Chinese,' restaurants it tasted extremely generic...the 'fried rice,' didnt seem fried, just warmed up and coated with sauce, the meat and veggies seemed pulled put of the frozen aisle, with the whole thing drenched in sauce - in fact, the closest comparison I can make is exactly that: the whole dish was about as good as something you'd pull from the freezer aisle at a grocery store.
