I could make this a very long glowing review, but you just imagine I did. I went in for the first time yesterday and it was all I could have wanted in an Indian meal. In fact having been to india, it felt very authentic from a vibe perspective. The place is roomy, well decorated, clean. The food and drink were absolutely wonderfully prepared. The lamb vindaloo was spicy, the nan was well made. The staff were giving typical awesome indian hospitality. I will be back regularly....read full review
Cafe India has become a weekly staple in our house. The food is always so amazing & we love supporting a local business. I cannot recommend Cafe India enough!
Best Indian food I’ve ever had BY FAR! The samosas and the tikki masala specifically. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms….what else could you want?

Cafe India | Indian Food & Sweets of Walker’s Point offers good food at a decent price in a clean, self service restaurant with an unassuming ambiance. The chicken tikka, korma, and other curries are creamier and sweeter than expected, so customers balance them with a vindaloo or other non-creamy dish. The vindaloo and goat biryani are favorites, with the biryani being the best in Milwaukee. The lassi can be too sweet, and the sag paneer is not personally enjoyed. For spice lovers, asking for max level spice is recommended. The roti, naan, gulab jamun, and halwa are good. Chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, plain naan, rice, and potato samosas are excellent. Portion size for the price is great, and nothing on the menu falls short of being delicious. The veggie tikka masala with garlic naan is a go-to takeout choice, with very quick service. Excellent service and prices make this a reliable spot.
