Service was just slower than it should have been. We had slow service at the bar as well, bartender took the drink orders from a couple that sat down after us. Our waiter was very nice but very slow.
Had 7:30 reservation. Sat 50 minutes later at 8:40. From the wait, to the pretentious bartender, to the overwhelmed waitress, to not even be offered a wine menu, to the food being subpar, to everyone else being served before us as "VIP"... the whole night was off. My Benjamin's spend just the same. This was not our first rodeo there, but more than likely our last... 😢
The meal was excellent. Wally at the bar makes the finest drinks and once again he did not disappoint us. It appears that The Five O'Clock Club is so popular that we felt a bit rushed to eat our meal & depart. Don't plan on dawdling.
