“I'm happily very satisfied with this new Indian restaurant in my neighborhood! My friend and I had dinner of garlic naan, samosa( nice dough +bit of heat), butter chicken, chicken & chickpea dish, wine, and dessert, and chai tea. We had take home. Our waiter was patient as we made choices, attentive, even remembering our divided bills details correctly. He brought extra rice for our to go. Show up here for clean place,pleasant soft music, and delicious food.“

“Saw this place on fox6 and decided to check it out. The food was amazing! Got a chicken tikka bowl and swapped the beets for carrots and added some spicy pickled peppers. Owner still gave me a tiny side of beets that were actually not bad (I hate beets). I ate this bowl soooo fast. I also ordered a goa blues lassi that was phenomenal! I can’t stop thinking about this place and cannot wait to go back. The owner seemed very passionate about cooking, making the drinks and customer service. I felt at home at this place and loved every second of it! Thank you Rutas for a memorable experience that I can’t stop thinking about! They even had a plant that matched my hoodie.“

“I could make this a very long glowing review, but you just imagine I did. I went in for the first time yesterday and it was all I could have wanted in an Indian meal. In fact having been to india, it felt very authentic from a vibe perspective. The place is roomy, well decorated, clean. The food and drink were absolutely wonderfully prepared. The lamb vindaloo was spicy, the nan was well made. The staff were giving typical awesome indian hospitality. I will be back regularly. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Best Vegi Pekora I have ever had with the lightest crispy chickpea flour I have ever experienced. Everything I ordered came out quickly, hot and fresh! I had to order an extra assortment of their delicious chutneys also. And their Saag Paneer had the most most wonderful fresh herbs and spices, which I ordered medium spicy. Yum. Don't miss out on this delicious food!“

“It is difficult to find good quality Indian street food in Milwaukee. The food at Honest reminds me of my childhood growing up in India. With an extensive menu with food from all over India, there is something for everyone. Got the Katapa Sandwich and Chinese bhel. Huge portions but taste left us craving more. All around friendly reception and great service.“

“Ate at Bollywood for the first time and was so impressed! The owners and staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We ordered a variety of items to share off the menu with help from our server. Everything was so very delicious and flavorful. We have tried numerous Indian restaurants and hands down, this was our favorite. The menu is expansive and had one of the largest vegetarian selections I have ever come across. I am looking forward to trying their lunch buffet, I am certain it will not disappoint.“

“They had amazing food here. Loved the Chicken Karahi, including the sauce it had and the chicken and the karahi Masala. I would say though that I would like there to be less bone and more chicken. The place is also relatively convenient for taking transit is it is right along the route 54 bus and the Route 80 bus which have decent frequencies. Not super convenient for biking as the nearest bike lanes are on Mitchell street and Muskego Avenue and really is only accessible by biking from the west. If you are coming from the north south or east then you’ll either have to ride on side streets or in traffic with other cars“
