Definitely one of the best dance bars in Milwaukee. People actually dance without a care in the world, the vibe is nice, and outdoor patio to catch a brake, reasonably priced drinks. They often do have cover charges though, and during special events or days (like Halloween or NYE) it will fill up to capacity.
Best place in Milwaukee for dancing. Super fun Friday retro nights!

MADPLANET is a magical, legendary Milwaukee institution. It is an awesome place for Goth/Alternative events, including where Goth Barge hosts Goth Prom. The atmosphere has an underground vibe, with everyone friendly, super inclusive, and welcoming to all walks of life. It is SO MUCH FUN and definitely where memories are made. The venue features a cool bar, areas to sit down and rest, an awesome dance floor with lots of room, and a spacious, covered outdoor smoking Lounge area in the back to escape the noise. There is also a solid pool table with a purple glow. The bartenders are all very friendly, and one bartender goes above and beyond. The Halloween party was fantastic with great costumes and decor. Cover was $7 with $5 ciders plus tip, making for very reasonably priced drinks in a safe, comfortable atmosphere. It does tend to fill up, so buying twice as many drinks is recommended. This place is not to be missed.
