Great restaurant and brew pub located near sorrento and right on the tram line. Excellent menu and food and lots of great brews. They even have frog legs from time to time. The space is huge and beautifully converted from an old warehouse. There is an outdoor patio as well. Great place to watch sports and is usually packed. We got to watch the Milwaukee Bucks win their championship here.
In early December we celebrated my brother's 30th birthday at Explorium Brewpub Third Ward and everything was fantastic! Joan, from the event department, was great to work with and reserved the dining room space for our group of 16. The space was not private but still separate from the main bar/dining area which was perfect. There was a separate large group menu we could order from and I expected limited options but this was not the case at all. There were many items to choose...
The food was pretty standard bar fare. The beer was ok. What really was upsetting was that they had a promotion advertised (in at least 3 different places) for a free gift card with purchase over $50 every Monday in December. They decided it was over even though today was Monday December 30th. *Update* the restaurant contacted us and explained their error. They offered to send a gift card.
