I’ve never seen so many bamboo shoots in a meal that was supposed to be a chicken curry. I mean literally an odd amount of bamboo shoots and almost no chicken. So mostly I paid quite a bit for rice and sauce and bamboo slices. My wife’s meal was equally mediocre. One of the best stops for lunch to go / pick up in the 3rd ward area downtown.The lunch specials are a good go-to. You can get one or two entrees. It’s been my go to, but today I did notice the price was $3 more than what was marketed on their chalkboard.Grab a meal to go, stay at their bar, or take it upstairs. You can park in the public market and get a free 1 hour voucher as long as you save your receipt.

Had a nice conversation with the woman at the register, and she helped me decide which spice level would be best, I went with a 2 and if you like spice, I definitely recommend this level.It was really easy for me to order and find food that fit my vegan diet. The red curry was really rich, flavorful, and filling. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Milwaukee.
