Buck & Honey's offers a great dining experience with friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere. The food choices are varied, covering everyone's favorites or providing an opportunity to try something new. The halibut special and tuna bowl were tasty, and the crème brûlée for dessert was delicious. Prices are a little pricey but not that bad. While the food was good, some dishes, like the blackened Mahi, lacked flavor and were extremely chewy. However, the outstanding server made up for these shortcomings with attentive and fast service. Despite some seating issues, the outdoor area is lovely for a warm evening. The ribs were flavorful, though not as tender as expected. Overall, Buck & Honey's is a great place for a date night or a casual dinner in Monona, with excellent options like fish fry, fish tacos, and pasta that received high praise.
