This was actually our second choice, after we found out the first had an hour wait. Walked right in here and ordered and sat down. Got much busier as we ate. Food was amazing!!! I was asking if the red beans and rice were vegetarian and one of the gals told me about a couple other sandwich options they could make! Onion rings were some of the best I've had, adult grilled cheese with tomatoes was awesome, beans and rice were spicy and good. My husband had ribs and chicken...

This restaurant almost single handedly makes me proud of this country. It’s like a time capsule to better times. The service is friendly like family, the interior is kitschy in exactly the way you want it to be, and the food is phenomenal. I also think the pricing is extremely fair for the quality and portions too.

Haven’t been to Fat Jacks since I was 17..I’m 33 now. I got the chicken dinner with potato salad, wedges and a side salad. The salad was so crisp and refreshing. The chicken with homemade bbq sauce was good and filling. The potato salad was yummy and garlic bread good as well. Nice place to eat and relax. Will be back again
