“Stopped in for lunch with family and was warmly greeted. Beautiful resturant with a full bar with slot machines and darts. Several different rooms available. It appeared they were setting up for a wedding in a separate party room. It looked lovely. We sat in a room with a view of the water. Look forward to coming back in the summer so we can sit outside. The family ordered bloody Marys which they said were good. We had steak sandwiches which were tasty. Our waiter was friendly and efficient!“
“I have to start this by saying I almost don't want to leave this review because I want to keep this place secret to myself, but because I'm disabled and have rarely been treated so well despite the issues I have I needed to leave this review.I have brain damage and it can sometimes be very difficult for me to understand what's going on around me, My first time coming here I was not able to get a drink because they are cash only, the man behind the bar repeated himself for me many times so I could understand what was going on, he was incredibly kind to me even though he knew long before i did that I didn't have the means to pay. Great experience.Then the second time I came I knew to bring cash and again the man behind the bar was very nice to me and made sure he understood what I wanted to drink. (Which can be hard because of my speech)On top of all that the atmosphere is very nice, giving the feeling that you have been to this bar a million times and made many great memories there, the pours are HEAVY, you don't want a double lol, and the other guests are respectful and kind.I really enjoyed the fact that I could come here alone and just be left alone which I find to be harder and harder to find in a bar. Sometimes you just need to be alone with your thoughts and this is a fantastic place to go for that too. In the end I really can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend everybody to come have a drink here.“
“WOWWWW! As a non-vegan, I was definitely skeptical of this restaurant, but that was my mistake. This is one of the very best restaurants in all of Madison. It was so good that I went twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the food was! The service was excellent and Juan, the chef, made our experience super memorable. Make sure to get the chickpea paneer and the bao, they are both to die for! I'll be coming back (maybe again next week haha) and plan on taking all of my friends and family there to impress them. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you to the staff for such an amazing dinner!!“
“I ordered on line and didn’t get the confirmation email. I called the store and they had the order as pick up the person answering my was quick to be able to change my order. I was not able to get a confirmation for delivery time… but short after what would have been pick up, my delivery driver was here! I was not expecting so soon but he was so friendly and wanted to be sure I had my food! Every single order from Sal’s… all the staff are so wonderful! Amazing kindness!“
“Madison's on King Street in downtown Madison is always a great place for food, drinks, and hanging out with friends or coworkers. It's one of my favorite spots for happy hour. They have a great happy hour menu and it's from 4-6pm Tuesday thru Friday. Their spicy margarita and dry rubbed wings are delicious!“

“If you are looking for a fun dining experience, it is a fairly nice option. The vibe is pretty friendly and casual; the plating is beautiful. However, when it comes to food I feel like (at least for our menu) they tried to put too many strong flavors on one dish and these are not always balanced. Sometimes too salty, too sour, or too sweet. (Especially the Mac and Cheese with pine and pretzel, way too much salt!! I can appreciate very strong cheese but it should be paired with something plain, not melted entirely as a cream sauce where the high salt almost tasted bitter and caused dizziness.) Among the 12 dishes, 2/12 really good appetizers raised expectations and 6/12 tasted OK, except that 1/12 was uneatable, 3/12 were a little disappointed concerning the flavor. I mean, it's definitely not a bad place as a cozy & creative family-owned restaurant, but it do need re-polishing for the menu.“

“We stayed at the Indigo on 3/28/24 and absolutely loved the service. We stayed in the bar area (7pm) and the bartender was excellent, made us an amazing Wisconsin Old Fashion Sour, excellent professional and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious and quickly served. We casually mentioned that my wife's birthday was the day before and the manager I assume, ( very friendly and professional, bald gentleman) brought us a Keylime pie out of nowhere! She was extremely happy. You guys rock, thank you so much and we have been here before and continue to stay here because of the amazing service. Both at the restaurant and at the hotel, hotel staff is also very friendly and even gave our dog a doggie biscuit. This is our all time favorite place to stay whenever we are in Madison. This place has a good variety of pizzas that you can choose and if you don't see a pizza that catches your eye, you can place an order for free.
