“Hands down, the BEST restaurant I've been to in the Milwaukee area. Merica was our server and she was simply the best- friendly, professional, funny, and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Our food was phenomenal, we ordered seconds of the Jamaican goat and the duck wontons. The restaurant offered to let us sample the fall dessert menu ahead of time for free, this was the best restaurant experience I've ever had, you've got a life long customer from here on out. “THE best service and food. Walked in today with 8 if us including my grandchildren after the pumpkin farm. We were a little shocked at the quality of the food and service for such a small place. Fresh mac n cheese, broasted chicken, amazing burgers, delicious old fashioneds. This is a new one for our list.“

“Service was a little slow at first but they were busy on a Saturday night. From the Shrimp and Crab dip to the Walleye Fish Fry and the Black Raspberry Manderin Martinis everything was fantastic. We are from out of town so this was a spur of the moment pick and we will definitely go back when on the area.“

The Friday night bartender Tonya is super friendly, makes everyone feel welcome (even us out-of-towners!) and knows your name and drink after your first visit - definitely has a cheers vibe which I love! “DeMarks is one of those places...if those walls could talk. Everyone has a story when it comes to DeMarks. The food...goes without saying, it's like stepping into an Italian grandma's kitchen, it's just a given it's gonna be great. “Fun local watering hole. Serves its community well, but doesn't try to do anything that would make you go out of your way to visit. Extremely affordable bar food. TVs to watch shows -- not like they wouldn't turn a sports game on if there was one, but when there's not sports expect Hogan's Heros.“

“Friendly fun small town feeling bar. My daughter and I were in town visiting family after the Jelly Roll concert Friday night. We all walked over to Cheers. I instantly felt welcome, and like I walked into my favorite local bar. Great drinks with great people. When good songs are played, the whole bar sings. It's definitely a place to visit again.“

“UPT is our go-to Friday night fish fry spot. We have tried all the menu items over the years since Angie became the owner, and you can't go wrong with any choice. Fish is dipped in a lighter batter that doesn't overwhelm the flaky meat. I believe you can also order a baked cod entree. Shrimp are huge and are breaded. The extra large walleye filet with onion rings is my fave. It is voted #1 fish fry in Kenosha county for good reason!“

“As a female, going to a bar alone is a difficult thing. I walked in this place on a pool league night and can say nothing but wonderful things about the staff and the pool players. They were friendly, hospitable, the bartender was hilariously sarcastic and poignient. And I felt acceptably safe here alone, while I was waiting for a friend to join me. Props to the staff, the pool players and the constructive atmosphere you have in this building. Party on. You guys rock!“
