“Stopped in to get something to take home, didn't feel like driving so it was a quick walk near where I live. The environment was ok, staff very friendly and welcoming, prices were beyond far especially for the amount of food you get. I ordered the cheese burger and chicken wrap, also some breaded mushrooms. The burger was bigger then expected and so was the chicken wrap. Both were delicious, as I had half of each for dinner. Definitely will be going back to try other things on the menu.“

“Huge shout out to the staff at Route 41! Had a surprise birthday party in their restrauant area. The buffet food was amazing...thank you Mama Lisa....the wait staff (Lindsey and Lindsay😁) were attentive and very helpful..and the bartenders Joe and Becky took care of us! “We stumbled into NorthSouth Club before Summerfest because we had time to kill before the show. The crew working that night was incredible and very conversational. They had overheard we were going to The Academy Is and offered us wristbands! Thank you, Tyler, Phoebe and Max for making our night! Drinks were great, and the axe throwing was so fun!“

“As others have said, homey/divey vibe, nothing fancy but perfect for what it is. Feels like it's always been there. Great food too, friendly owner/bartender, an an excellent brandy old fashioned.
If you don't love this place, I think it says more about you than it does about Phylos!“

“The bar’s location is on my way to other places like Fluid and Walker’s pint. Back in 2021, I was being re-introduced to the Milwaukee LGBTQ+ community after living in Denver for the past 8 years. Before leaving, I volunteered at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, helped organize the gay softball World Series in 2009, and also volunteered at American Family Field for the LGBTQ+ softball league SSBL. I ran into this bar walking from Woodys to Walkers Pint. I walked in and was greeted by the bartender, Charlie. I recently parted ways with some of my gay “bar friends” and needed a change of scenery. Not knowing my story Charlie made conversation and made me feel welcome. In about 7-8 minutes meeting Charlie, he knew I happened to be gay. Since then I make it a point when friends visit for pride I take them to this place. All of the bartenders have always treated me with great respect and I enjoy the atmosphere. With me standing tall at 4’9” I’m happy to visit this inclusive place where I’ve happened to develop friendships with people who happen to be straight, oh and people who happen to be gay as well.“

“The best way to describe it is the best Culver's you've ever had.
The burgers are sloppy So this is not the kind of place you want to go to while on a diet, and the ice cream is very good.
The fries are good, but nothing too exceptional.
There is only street parking but when I went it was fairly easy to find parking. Plus there is a residential neighborhood nearby.“

“I love Palaminos. The ambience is an old pub eatery. Many people eat at the bar, but there is ample seating for groups. The fish fry is the best in the city! There are 3 hearty pieces of cod. You will not go away hungry. The staff is great! definitely put it on your list!“

“The original staff (Monique) was awesome! But I offered to buy the next round for the bar (6-10 people) and the old dude bartender refused to break out the total he offered me on the receipt...I suspect he gave himself too much of my money. Other than that conflict, it was a good experience.“

“We were driving by and the outside signage was calling our name. This is an old school corner tavern. We ended up staying longer than intended. We met Marty, the bartender and owner, great guy, had everyone going. Also his mom walked in and sat with us and told us the history behind the bar. Everyone in the place were all laughing and sharing story’s, felt like I had known these people my entire life. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area. Thanks Marty!“

“Sugar Maple is a great staple in the Milwaukee craft beer scene. With so many beers on tap, there’s definitely something for everyone! They have a full bar if beer isn’t your thing. The service and atmosphere are nice, and there is a patio out back. Sugar Maple often hosts fun events like Name That Beer trivia (free to play!), food trucks, beer and food pairings, and brewery visits/tap takeovers. They now offer an order-in food selection as well. If you like craft beer, Sugar Maple is an excellent bar to visit.“

“Really enjoyed our meal at St Francis Brewery. Stephanie, our server was attentive and friendly. Food delivery was super speedy. Pretzel bites and cheese were so good. We had the Beer can chicken and chicken tenders- both excellent. Also big fans of the sweet potato fries. Live music was fantastic. Altogether a great vibe- we’ll be back!“

“My neighborhood "cheers". I moved to the area 2yrs ago, and I just started visiting this place in the summer. I like it here. There's always good vibes. Sarah and Dawn are awesome! Sarah makes the best wings and they have a nice variety of flavors! The drinks are well made, and the prices are affordable. It's a nice place for a quick bite to eat and a drink after work. Game days are always a go!“

“We had my mother in laws surprise 80th birthday at D'Vine! We had about 50 members of our family there and we were all so happy with the space and the service. Andrew is so kind and accommodating to work with! We will definitely go back the next time we're in need of a family gathering space!“
