The second you walk in you feel welcomed and like you are at home unlike some bars that make you feel like you are an outsider if you aren't a regular. “Beautiful building, awesome fireplace. Food was excellent. Have ice cream drinks that are enough to feed 3 or 4 unless you order individual size. Food was excellent. Beet salad was amazing. I had the special which was a veal strip steak. It was more like a roast it was so thick. See pics of steak and dessert which had a chocolate hard exterior and had chocolate mousse and raspberries on the inside. Server was excellent. Hostess staff were friendly and GREAT!“

“Had the meatloaf dinner. The menu online advertised it as being made with bacon and cheese curds. While it didn't have either, it was still good - just not expected. I'm not sure if the menu I saw online was old, or what. Was served with mashed potatoes and maple glazed carrots. Overall, very good. Bar atmosphere was nice with an old-time bar aesthetic. I'll definitely try the food again.“

“Would have given this place 5 stars but the owner refuses to get rid of the vampire infestation. I got bited two times already n' stuph! “I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bar!!!! Duke's was the highlight of our trip to Kenosha from Florida. They have great liquor and beer selections, games, plenty of tv's AND attentive, knowledgeable bartenders! The best part....the special's shelf. I'm not sure if it's an all the time thing or just when we were there but we tried amazing bottles of close out shots at a deeply discounted rate. I hardly remember that it was -6 degrees while we were there.“

“My husband and I went to Vero last night to celebrate our anniversary, and it's the first time we've gone back since they reopened. I love the changes they've made with a focus on small, shareable plates which is one of my favorite ways to dine. The food was outstanding, and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. I'm excited to have Vero back and even better than it was before.“

It supports bands that pass thru, but they now have added a kitchen that serves a bit of variety of dishes plus rib tips and brisket, which was very good but slightly tough for my liking.The other thing I like was no tiny containers for taking your spork for the one spoonful. “We found this place yesterday on our way to The Goodwill Outlet. What an awesome place! Everyone was so welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. We all ordered the fish fry ( cod) and it was perfectly cooked. It had that good crunch when you bite into it. Also, for your side get the cheesy tater tots. The prices were great too. “Definitely a very diverse crowd, but a very good diverse crowd. Bartenders are very much what every bar in town needs. Jukebox is completely unlocked so you will not be stuck not being able to find your artist or song. This pub is my personal top 3 picks in town.“

“I manage this bar and I can't begin to say how blessed I am to be a part of Witt's. The best part is all of our customers!!! We have such an amazing mix of people that it makes coming to work an absolute BLAST! This year, 2019, has to be the best yet!! “First time back in a couple of years. Our beach has been questionable as far as safety. The band was nice to hear, Fall Hazard. Pretty weather, and my ESA was welcome. I tried the nachos, they were acceptable but not anything I would come back for. Always nice to people watch.“

The Friday night bartender Tonya is super friendly, makes everyone feel welcome (even us out-of-towners!) and knows your name and drink after your first visit - definitely has a cheers vibe which I love! “What a cool hidden place in Kenosha. I was recommended here for their fish fry and it did not disappoint. The back patio was open and it cause a bit of a rush. Although the bartenders and servers were busy, they kept a smile on their face and were extremely nice, personable, and funny! We will definitely be coming back.“

Only on one occasion (recently), I and other patrons were yelled at numerous times by another customer around five or ten minutes before close "get out.... time to go"!. He was definitely NOT an employee, but a patron yelling at myself and others it was time to leave, as he was enjoying his beer.
