“Four of us had an utterly delightful lunch yesterday at the Lazy Bear. Our hostess, the owner, welcomed us with a friendly greeting, provided us with menus and brought us our ordered beverages. She spent time explaining the menu offerings, and it was obvious to us that the perch and walleye sandwich baskets would be something special. We were not disappointed! The fish was lightly breaded and delicately fried. The potatoes were not the usual french fries, but a special "bear claw" preparation. One of us had the grilled chicken sandwich basket and found it delicious. We were thrilled with our luncheon choices, the cleanliness of the business and the outgoing and gracious welcome of our hostess. This is a new establishment and deserves lots of hungry diners. Go there, be impressed and enjoy!“
“Hidden gem in the woods. Right on Chute Pond with good food. Good service and reasonable prices. Stuffed northwoods decorations hung up all around. Just over an hour from Green Bay. Little rental cabins are just steps away from the restaurant and waterfront. Larger parking lot but easiest in/out park right away and walk up.....we were briefly were parked in.“
“I stopped in for a quick bite. Let me tell you this place checks the boxes. Greeted as soon as I sat down, offered a menu and a drink. Food came out in a timely manner, and was excellent. Great owner, friendly staff, great food. If you have not had their pizza and you like thin crust you will be pleasantly surprised, it is wonderful. 10/10!“
“Outstanding food and service and another mandatory visit when we're atv'ing. Kelly is always super friendly and quick with the service and its honestly my favorite place to eat when I'm up north. The Lunker is a standout and hits the spot everytime and the cheeses curds are some of the best I've had. Don't sleep on this place, get you a Lunker burger and thank me later“
“Phenomenal food! The breakfast is amazing! I recommend either the Jimmy’s chorizo breakfast burrito or the eggs Benedict (he uses bbq pork as the meat which is surprisingly delicious). I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and I’ve never been burned, and I’m kind of a food snob. Great prices, HUGE portions! Recommend for sure!“
“Highly recommended! We were in town for a week and decided to watch the packer game there. The bartender was amazing. She would frequently walk around to make sure EVERY patron had their needs met! She was on fire! They served food at half time and it was great party food! I can't leave out how scrumptious the dessert was! We also HAD TO HAVE their haystack onion rings which are the best!!!!!!!!We also visited Baileys pour hous back in May of 2023. And their Fish Fry was soooooo good.The hospitality is just the best ever!If you are looking for a spot to go to when your in town and if you want to feel like your hanging out with family and good friends..... THIS IS THE SPOT!“
“My favorite place to relax and have dinner out. The owners and waitstaff are amazing. Food is always good. Between my dinner date (the meat eater) and me (the vegetarian), we've tried most of the menu. Nothing disappointed. “I love coming here! Busy but not ever packed for a 2hr plus wait that I’ve ever had. Owner,bartenders, and waitresses do a fantastic job. I had the 8oz tenderloin and it cut like butter! Should have a taken a pic prior to eating it but couldn’t wait . Had a side of hot tortellini which I thought was a nice change. Cozy quiet dining room and that rustic feel. It’s like a hidden gem.“
“2 hungry kids in the backseat and driving home I asked the wife to look for a crowded parking lot in one of the towns we were heading home after another great family vacation in the Northwoods. We spied this place and pulled in. My grumpy daughter was not impressed and gave it 2 stars . We walked in and it's an amazing space. The staff were amazing and knew everything. I had 2 eggs, hashbowns, and a English muffin the size of my hand with prime rib for $12.95. My neice had chili and looked to me that prime rib was in their. A woman actually also paid for our breakfast as a act of random kindness and we passed it along to the next customer but I've never had that happen before! It's quite close to the casino and I'll be back on my way to our family cabin and again when I leave it. Btw, grumpy daughter gave it 9 stars afterward.“

“Stopped in Saturday evening for a sunset pizza, cloudy so not much sunset, but love to sit outside on the deck with a nice campfire & view over the lake! Service was good & everyone friendly, their pizza overall is OK, love the fresh, tasty toppings BUT they mostly fall off! put cheese on top to hold the stuff in, I personally think their sauce needs more ZIP! live music on the deck is awesome & we will be back but probably choose a burger next time“
“My husband and I stopped in for a drink while camping in white lake! The local hospitality was amazing! We came in when they had a pot luck for the packers game going on and they were kind enough to let us join in!!! Barb makes the best taco dip I’ve ever had! Such a cute cozy bar! Thanks animal and locals for the great time! Can’t wait to be back!!“
