“So I stopped in at this local pub simply to verify that " Surely you must have a gas station in this town!" ... I had left the highway ... Barely making it to the pub, all the while thinking that since there is a Main Street in this town certainly a Main Street would lead to a gas station! The answer to that is nope! However, this town does have a really nice group of people at this local watering hole along with Larry who just happens to have a huge container of gasoline that he gives away to wandering needy people with just a comment that it should be paid forward. What a nice bunch of people! Surely this is a good spot to just sit your butt down and share some relaxation & revelry!!“
“I travel alone so I'm looking for good food in a friendly atmosphere. I was not disappointed. Sour creme fries were excellent, cole slaw was perfect, ribs were falling off the bone perfect and delicious. My bartender was attentive. The owner was friendly. Definitely a good place to try!“
“It's a very nice, recently updated smaller sports bar attached to a local favorite restaurant. Service has always been great and you can order anything off the menu. I use JP's and Shawano Cafe frequently for business meetings and other networking events.“
“I was there last night again for their wing night. Once again, the WINGS WERE AMAZING! I had hot wings, and my two sons had bbq wings. They were cooked perfectly and extra extra saucy like I ordered. The French fries were excellent too. The service from Lindsey, our waitress, was top quality. The food and service never disappoint!!!!“
“Friendly and fun lake adjacent bar, with a basic menu you would expect at most taverns. Their forte is definitely their burgers. Many unique choices on the menu. They have a gigantic one (see my picture) I think it's like 1.8 lbs of meat!! I didn't order that, but a couple of guys sitting by us did. (They split it) It was crazy big, but actually looked cooked well and everything on it looked fresh and tasty. They said it was good. I did however, order a (regular) sized "build your own" burger and a side of onion rings. I liked my burger a lot. Definitely worth coming back for. Onion rings were also pretty good. My wife ordered the fish and chips basket. This meal was very average. Pretty much, your basic frozen battered fish, deep fried and served with okay French Fries. Burger was great, fish basket not so much. Would recommend stopping in for drinks and a burger. Skip the fish. (But maybe they serve different fish for their Friday Fish Fry)“

“I was The first person to Walk in Saturday morning after racing a snowmobile from the parking lot to fleet farm had the steak flat wrap . It was excellent. We will definitely be back to have more of micksters. Food. . clover leaf lakes. Rock's. Guy's from Walker forge love this place too.“
“Stop in the gas station about once or twice a month to pick up smokes. Best prices I've found locally, 9 out of 10 times there is a friendly face behind the counter greeting you with a smile. As of recent, the front has been remodeled & opened up to allow more than one customer to enter while still maintaining social distancing. Which is AMAZING since it is winter. ? As for the little casino, ALWAYS friendly staff, games are spaced out for social distancing, & seem to pay out decent. HAVEN'T eaten here yet, but hear the food is on point.“
“Best . Place. Ever. We have a vacation place about 20 mins from Shawano, and have been all over looking for a good bar & grill. FOUND IT! Great owner, great service, and the food was amazing too! Very clean, open, and not expensive either. My husband had the nachos and I had the chicken cordon Bleu. Wow! So much food and done perfectly. Taste so good. If you're in Shawano County, do not miss this stop. Trust me. The people next to us raved about the pizza, and the people on the other side come all the time for fish tacos. The staff is funny and efficient. Can't say enough good things.“
