Cozy environment and pretty good food. It's a feel good, local vibe. Service takes a bit and seems like it becomes more friendly the more you visit or engage there. It's worth the visit for the family environment and the food.
We arrived early - 4:30 - on a fish fry Friday. My stomach has been a bit queezy lately, so I enjoyed a ginger beer (pic). The service was fantastic, fish fry and potao pancakes, delicious, and prices are low to moderate! I've enjoyed a Southern Comfort Old Fashion last time, and it was perfect!! We sat at a low top overlooking the Neosho Millpond. Had 11 people out for fish fry, everything was very tasty, no complaints from any of the group. I especially enjoyed the "grilled" cod, offered along with baked and fried options.It's a sports bar atmosphere, but beautiful views of Lake Neosho add to the vibe. Always friendly staff, and down home comfortable feel. With reasonable pricing for both food and beverage it is a favorite for many folks.
