GERMANIA Longbranch Saloon offers an excellent menu selection, with all items available anytime. Diners can enjoy an exquisite soup and salad bar on Wednesday evenings, and the drinks are mixed excellently and served promptly, even in the midst of a crowd. The Fish dishes, such as haddock and walleye, may need a little more crisping, but the garlic mashed potatoes and the soup and salad are delicious. The Hippo Burger is a standout, both in size and taste, and the friendly bartender and great prices make for a pleasant dining experience. While the restaurant may not be the most wheelchair-accessible, it is a recommended stop for those in the area, especially if they come with a hearty appetite.
