“We visited for the first time. It took quite a long time until the food came, but it was worth the wait!! The broasted chicken was hot, juicy, and deliciously breaded; the double cheeseburger was huge, cooked perfectly, and delicious; the perch, baked haddock, and breaded cod were hot, fresh, and tasty! They also only take cash, so be prepared. The server and bartenders were friendly.“
“Everything about this place is top notch. I've paid more money in fancy restaurants for a lesser quality product. Service was phenomenal, food was delicious and it arrived extremely fast! We had a party of 9 and were out of there in less than an hour (with a full bar)! If you are in the area you'd be silly to go anywhere else!“
“I've been coming here in November for the last 3 years to celebrate with my friend on his birthday. Great selection of craft beers, some of them local. The axe throwing is a lot of fun. The staff act as a coach so everyone can do their best. Fun little competition while sipping fancy beer!“
“Salute's is a great bar I have never had any issues..They have a decent amount of bands pretty regularly and they have pretty great bartenders that will keep conversations pretty well. They also have a decent amount of little games you can play. The bar also features indoor and outdoor settings (summer) mainly. It's also located near Kwik Trip and 2 banks and withing reach of 3 or 4 other bars.. Good place to be...“
“This bar is a definite stop just for the decor which is all navy and mostly submarines! I loved it I spend a lot of time there just taking pictures and looking at the memorabilia! I did not eat here but the food looked okay to me from what I seen everyone seemed happy about the food!“
“Great bar great people,. They handle themselves very well there and it's always a good hangout. Sundays they have kareoke and they have morning deals all week... The bar opens at a decent time and it doesn't close early. It's the local pub that's always there for you and they pour nice and strong all night long it's the place to be in my opinion and it's my first choice days and weekends alike. Overall great atmosphere and service.“
“The prices here are amazing. The staff I conversed with were awesome. The sound system for the jukebox was outstanding. The only improvement I would suggest is to carry either Angry Orchard or Redd's Ale. If they served either of those I would up it to 5 stars.“
“A fun bar near the heart of Manitowoc. All the appetizers I've tried are great, and when the popcorn machine is running, it's some of the tastiest I've had. The fish fry on Fridays is a must-try, and I highly recommend the bluegill basket!“
“First timer here and their bar did not disappoint!! The owners are AMAZING and we had such a blast celebrating my friends birthday!! They provided food for the game! Drinks are cold, the people are great and it's a great little corner bar! We will definitely make this a frequent stop when we are in town!!“
“Sub Pub that is on top the Maritime Museum is a hidden gem with beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the River frontage. They serve beer, cocktails, etc at a reasonable price. They have tables with umbrellas and plenty of standing and walking space, even a designated smoking. The only thing they should change is the hours, they first open the Sub Pub at 5 pm till 10 pm. If you want tourist to take full advantage of seeing the Museum, open earlier in the afternoon to utilize it more.“
“Decided to go here for lunch because I happen to see the special on their Facebook page and it looked really good. And it did not disappoint, was delicious. I had the tenderloin sandwich with butterfly shrimp. I'm so glad we decided to go there for lunch and will definitely be back.“
“My husband and I stopped by on our road trip to pick up a truck. The menu was full of options! Maybe if I picked something else, it would have been better. The food was kind of bland, and everything was separate prices. So the drink (purchase each can separately), the side was a separate price from the sandwich.. Honestly, the price of the food wasn't bad, though.I ordered the steak sandwich (which came plain, so I added cheese, sautéed onions, and sautéed mushrooms). It didn't taste like the meat was seasoned, and it was very chewy. The bun was too big for the meat. However, the bun was soft delicious.I ordered fried mushrooms. They were luke warm on the outside, and the mushrooms were cold on the inside.I ordered onion rings. They were doughy on the inside. My husband ordered a beer gut burger. He said that the sausage patty overpowered the taste of the burger, but it was ok.He ordered the loaded mashed potatoes. He said they needed salt and pepper but were delicious. And he ordered the curly fries. Other than getting the tiny pieces at the bottom of the bag, they were delicious! This place looks like it is probably a pretty fun place to go to on a weekend or during an event like karaoke night. I would definitely go back to try out some of their other dishes, like Blue Gill on Fish Friday or .50 wing night on Thursday nights. Just keep in mind those items are on specific nights ONLY!They also sell farm fresh chicken and duck eggs as well as local raw honey! (I bought a quart of that..love me some honey!)The parking is a little tricky here.. I couldn't quite figure out where I was supposed to park.. But it looks like there are 3 areas. One of those areas does pull through. So as long as cars aren't parked there an RV or semi could pull in and park.“
