“Recommended by some locals we met at Petskull, glad we checked it out! An older supper club that certainly could use a refresh, but that didn't affect the service, drinks or food. You order at the bar and when ready they bring you to your table. Bar staff were very nice, and drinks are very reasonably priced. Food was good and would be considered inexpensive in todays world. Salmon oscar and seafood pasta were the specials and quite tasty. Dining room is dark with a family restaurant vibe, but didnt take away from our total dining experince.“

“Our round went long at the end of the day so we missed our 7:30 pm reservation by at least a half hour, but we told them our tee time before starting so they knew we were running late! Much appreciated. We were seated immediately, the room is warm and comforting after the wind and cold, and the service was cheerful and considerate! Laura was impeccable. The crispy brussel sprouts were a great choice for appetizer, my husband and I split a bowl of potato leek soup (if you ask to split it they'll bring you two small bowls), and then we both ordered the roast duck. Also, the bread basket has wonderful herbaceous buns. We ordered way too much, but after walking for hours on the course we were up for the challenge. The duck was cooked very well but it wasn't our favorite mix of flavors.
It was also our 9 year anniversary so they brought us an absolutely amazing sticky toffee pudding, the best we've ever had! Even better than the Hell's Kitchen version (sorry Gordon). It was truly a wonderful end to an equally wonderful round of golf.“

“Transport yourself back to a simpler time and visit Beerntsen’s in Manitowoc. It was originally founded in 1932 by Joseph Beernsten and remain a family owned business until 2003. The new owners, Dean Schadrie and his family have a background in making chocolate and stated that they would keep it the exact same. I had not been here since I was probably in my early teens and 30 years later it was everything I remembered growing up. I was even able to get the same sundae, the Teddy Bear, that I got as a child, and it was EXACTLY as I had remembered. Even the menu was the same! They have 32 different sundae options for you to choose from. They also have a small lunch menu. Afterwards I had to get some chocolates and taffy. It was a wonderful experience and walk down memory lane. Please like, share and follow!“

“A family member of ours was not doing well health wise and requested steak and mushrooms for one of his last meals. We called Courthouse Pub before they even opened and asked if they’d be able to do this- and 30 minutes later he had his steak smothered in mushrooms and said it was delicious. On behalf of our family we wanted to say a huge thank you to Courthouse Pub for helping us out so quickly, and for providing one more amazing meal for someone so important to us.“

“What a fun bar right on Lake Michigan. Pretty sure it’s not dog friendly but they let ours in while dead I was mad when we couldn’t come back for the show Friday night. We left them at the hotel Saturday and had an amazing time. Great food, great location, great live music. Can’t wait to come back next time we see the mother in law“
