“I was seated immediately. So the extensive 50 minute wait time for food caught me off guard. I wish expectations had been set up front. Perhaps they forgot about me? Overall, I didn't feel this restaurant a high enough value to ever return. (Considering the higher cost, flavors, sparse service, lack of coziness in the seating, etc)“
“This is a 4.5 star review. It’s the perfect pre or post dinner pit stop. They have a short menu so you can stay for dinner too. The bartenders are the best pros, very knowledgeable. Peter is outstanding- had a great time discussing wines and what’s in the cellar. He also shared a little education on Glenlivet. Prices reflect resort pricing- see the menu photos. This is a cozy atmosphere, great for groups, friends or couples. This book has all the elements of a special spot. Enjoy!“
“My wife and I like to treat ourselves to Michelin Star caliber restaurants for special occasions. The Immigrant Restaurant did not disappoint! Our servers--Angle and Cori--did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome, helped make recommendations, and let us feel like royalty for an evening. John--the sommelier--provided us with both great wine pairings and great conversation.I was hesitate to try the Pacific Sea Urchin dish, but gave it a shot at Angle's recommendation. I am so glad that I did! It was delicious, and the type of dish you can only find at a restaurant of this caliber. My wife enjoyed the five course vegetarian menu and I enjoyed the traditional five course menu. Both were great! But, with her getting different dishes, it did give me the chance to sample a whole other side of the menu. Thanks for the great experience!“
“First of all, the food is fantastic. My brother and I had the Chicken Sandwich and the Shrimp Po-boy. The chicken was juicy, the shrimp crispy, and the sauces chosen to pair were a perfect complement. You go down south for the same and it has that homey hole-in-the-wall kind of easy comfort, but what sets it apart is the choice of bun. I don't know if H&P makes their own from scratch, premade, or prepackaged, and I don't know what it is about Wisconsin, but we know how to pair all this goodness with the perfect carb.As to service, the workers I've dealt with are professional, friendly, and often knowledgeable about the other parts of Kohler waiting to be explored. I also like that I'm not constantly badgered. I was here to catch up with my brother and our conversation was rarely interrupted, but I also did not feel neglected. It's plain to see the pride Kohler puts into hiring and training charismatic hardworkers. The staff is definitely worth above and beyond the 20% tip.Lastly, atmosphere and ambiance. I like the cozy pub look, but it definitely is far from a normal pub ambiance. It's warm and buzzing. I don't think I've ever been here on a slow night. I like the food, I like the service, and I like bringing friends and family here for a casual night of reliably good food and drinks, except--and this is NOT H&P's fault--the one thing that is occasionally uncomfortable are the other customers. Every once in a while you'll get a weird vibe paired with a lingering gaze if you don't obviously match the normal Kohler standards, which is a strange double standard considering the number of non-Kohler people are employed in the kitchens, spa, and hospitality. I can't comment on the exact reason for the weird vibes I get off the other customers. I've met plenty of kind, down-to-earth people in Kohler, and I like to do my own thing because my business is mine and their business is theirs but it's been palpable enough on a number of occasions to comment on. There's really not much you can do about it except shrug it off.All in all, H&P is a great community staple. Don't let the occasional weird vibes deter you from treating yourself to good food and service.“
“We had dinner here last night. The food was amazing. We all said that their chef must be very creative with his/her menu! We will be back. I would highly recommend trying the appetizers when you go and we had a group of 5 and there was not one dish we didn't like!!! Great service and very friendly staff!!! Thank you so such a lovely evening. I left my credit card and rather than driving 2 hrs back they offered to mail it to me. I call that great customer service!!! Keep doing what you are doing and we will be back!!!!“
“Everything you would expect from such a professional, clean, fine dining room experience. The staff was both professional and friendly. We asked many questions, and our server fielded everything she could and deferred to the chef for those she couldn't and returned with a quick, informed response.“
“My partner and I were looking for a new place to try and he ended up finding this restaurant for us while browsing online. We went and it is super cute, not too big, and the staff were super nice.As far as the food, we were very impressed. I had a tuna melt and it was delicious. Partner had prime rib and the little man had a kids cheese burger. Well definitely be back and I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't yet!Wheelchair accessibility: While walking in you'll notice the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They also have a sign stating so near the door.“
“Stopped by this restaurant to try it and I wasn't disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. The portions are a good size also. The inside is a bit crowded, but that's a small price to pay for good food at a reasonable price.“
“This place has EXCELLENT food and mixed drinks. I have always had great service. You cannot go wrong with a burger and fries, but even their nachos are delicious. My only complaint is that there are so few vegetarian options (I saw one vegetarian sandwich and salads). I wish that there were bean burgers on the menu.Vegetarian options: There are very few.“
“Had reservations, seated immediately when arrived. The food is always delicious here, and this last time was no different. 3 tenderloin filets, and chicken tenders. Service with a smile, and prompt. Go to place in Sheboygan County for a great steak.“
“Four of us dropped in at 5:30 on a Saturday night. Had no trouble grabbing a table. First timers. Cozy but not cramped. Subtle lighting but bright enough to be able to read the menu. Food choices are limited but varied. One person ordered onion rings which were the large and fat variety. Other items ordered were The pub burger and two southwestern chicken breast sandwiches and navy bean soup. We couldn't say enough good things about the food and the cocktails. Note: one of us ordered an Espresso Martini - the review was " One of the best cocktails I've ever had!" Beer choices are exceptional as well. Give this neighborhood corner bar a try. Friendly folks behind the bar and grill give this place the 5th star!!“
“seriously such a good experience and super good food! looks like they had a kitchen fryer go down but the frost desk employee was so kind and accommodating through any mistake or chaos they faced. our food was delicious. i got the burger with the mushrooms and the truffle fries and they were both rich, flavorful, and delicious. the onion rings were the star for us- so thick and perfectly battered and not too burnt. will be definitely going back.“
“My fiancé and I stopped in tonight for the first time. We will definitely be back. I’ve spent about 7 months of a pregnancy being repulsed by the idea of eating fish, and out of nowhere had the hankering today. The cod absolutely hit the spot & baby’s been kicking up a storm since I took my first few bites. The pieces are a good size, the beer batter is phenomenal. Good NA’s, good service, great food & atmosphere. We’re definitely going to be frequenting this spot.“
“New favorite! I have been here twice this week! I ate double bowls of pulled pork chili and now the vegetable lasagna soup. The soups are homemade and delicious. The side salad is fresh and crisp with great salad dressing choices, and the homemade cookies are tasty. Everything is reasonably priced too! Tastes like good homemade food with tons of flavor. Highly recommend!“
“Tried the grilled chicken sandwich with grilled pineapple and bacon it was amazing my new favorite for sure so much flavor and so juicy not dried out , their potato soup and broccoli cheddar soup are absolutely delicious had the potato soup tonight so good the atmosphere is always upbeat what a wonderful corner bar so happy with Wendy and her staff“
“First time visiting this establishment and it didn't disappoint. We were on our way back home from our property in Northern Wisconsin and was looking for a place in Sheboygan to get a bite to eat. I went on Yelp and this place had good reviews. The place was busy, but we got a table right away! The waitress was friendly and attentive. We received our drinks and she took our food order. We received our food within 10 minutes after ordering which was a shock to us. We are used to waiting for a while with all the staff shortages every where. It was on a Friday so we got the perch fish fry platter for 2, it was fresh, hot and delicious! Plenty of food, four pieces of fish each, tons of French fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce with two slices of bread. I highly recommend this place and will be returning next time going Up-north!“
“"But, this is a fast food place. Why even rate it?"Why? Because Culver's has the most consistent, tasty food of any of the quick-eat places. The burgers are delicious - and they always taste the same! (I can't say that for other speedy-grub restaurants.)The "Curdside Pick-Up" (yes, that's spelled correctly) has been a great option, too - if you don't want to venture into the restaurant. My opinion is that Culver's absolutely NAILED this method through the pandemic. Other restaurants are still trying to figure out how to master this. It's said that people who come to Wisconsin and have never seen a Culver's have to try it...and for very good reason. Culver's is, hands-down, the best you can get in fast food.“
“A great neighborhood bar. Nothing fancy or complicated-a decent beer list and stiff pours. Menu is nothing complicated. During my Saturday afternoon visit, the bartender was also the cook. Luckily, it was quiet with only a few regulars. I ordered the hoffbrau sandwich with a side of fries. Perfectly cooked and large, it was a great value. I love coming to bars like this. No pretense or formality. I would definitely be back if ever in the area.“
“Wanted some wings and sides so I decided to get a delivery from Sundance Saloon! Since I git a delivery I did not see how the building itself was or the service but the delivery was nice and quick and the driver was nice. Food wise I git some fries, cheese curds and wings and all of them were warm, tasty, and exactly like I ordered without any problem at all! Try Sundance out, I liked it just by delivery so I would think eating in would be just as good!Pictures are of the food I got!“
“Very enjoyable Friendly Customer Service, dining room, great selection of Menu choices & wonderful salad bar. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆Vegetarian options: Wonderful salad bar & vegetarian choicesDietary restrictions: Salad bar with terrific choices as well as menu options ?Parking: Large parking areaKid-friendliness: Family friendly Service with great thorough care ?“
“Great local bar! We love their trivia nights on Wednesdays. The staff is always so kind, and the food is typical bar fare but pretty good. If you are going to trivia, it’s worth getting there an hour early to grab a Sheboygan pasty! They are delicious.“
“The Bread and Bean Eatery supplied my entire work team with lunch for three days during Ryder Cup. Out of 20 guys eating every sandwich they make we ALL give this company 5 stars!! The sandwiches are beyond what you’ll find at the chain places. Fresh food and packed full of amazing ingredients. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. If you’re in the area and searching for a place to go eat, you’ve found it. My favorite was their chicken salad sandwich, which is the recipe from the owner’s grandmother.“
“Great place for everyone! Live bands, drag queen shows , karaoke nights, dj, very spacious place . The food is delicious staff is friendly . Despite what the hours say for Friday and Saturday nights they are usually open if there is an event booked !“
“The best breakfast in Sheboygan. Everything I've had is so good, but the potato pancakes, the biscuits and gravy, and the corned beef hash with eggs are my favorites. It's an out of the way place, but very close to Lake Michigan. It's the perfect little diner/cafe and priced very reasonably.“
“Great beer selection, food is awesome, and they allow your pets on the outside patio! Me and my dog go here all summer long. It's an ideal location to meet friends. It's not noisy ever, and the bartenders are fun. There's also a hall/room you can rent for parties and events.“
“Pleasantly surprised. This clean and multi purposeful property inspires big possibilities. But the best part of our first time visit to this off the beaten path bar, was the bartender JT. He worked his hiney off to keep our large birthday group happy while keeping a friendly eye on the regulars too. He was quick and polite with top notch service. The drinks he mixed were perfectly balanced to taste great. Because of his skill, I won't hesitate to stop in at Racers Hall again when the opportunity arises.“
“Everything about Frankie's was absolutely FANTASTIC,!!!It was my first time. I'm from Eau Claire, WI. Can't speak more highly of the experience. Keepp up the GREAT work. I had the Frankies ultimate steak sandwich. Fabulous!!Thank you for the experience! Happy New Year“
“THE ROADSIDE DINER IS A PURELY AMERICAN CREATION AND THIS ONE CAPTURES THE ZEITGEIST.With curated kitsch decorations and poodle-skirted waitresses, this diner, while not an original 1950s edifice, has all the swagger of one and a sense of humour to boot. The food is an elevated diner offering, with a full bar serving those lo-cal mimosa’s (see image). One of two diners – the other being the original Harry’s Diner, closer to town – owned and run by a local restaurant dynasty, it’s a fun place to eat all day long.“
“It was delicious. The truffle Mac and cheese took awhile to come out and still deciding if it was worth the wait. Not that it wasnt delicious but pictures showed something much more cheesy than what we got. Truffle fries and mob Bob pizza were delicious. I would describe Bomallies as an eclectic upscale dining experience.“
“I have lived here for about a year and have been trying the various fish fry's around town. This one is now my favorite. I got the wallaye and it was perfectly breaded and seasoned. Also, the coleslaw was DELICIOUS and I'm VERY picky about coleslaw. The option of waffle fries is a really nice change from the standard french frys. The staff was also extremely friendly and welcoming. The food did take a long time to come out, but it was Friday and they were busy and it was totally worth it.I can't belive this little place has been right around the corner from me the whole time! I'll definitely be coming back.“
“Although I did not care much at all for their version of a brandy old fashioned... the drinks were cheap, the bartender was nice, and it had a good "Wisconsin atmosphere".I definitely won't order another old fashioned but I might stop in for a beer again sometime.“
“Was going through town and found this little gem of a place. Super glad I came into this place. The staff and the owner are super nice amd welcoming. They gave me suggestions on what to see and a little history about their town.Food was great, and actually snuck a peak into the kitchen and it was spotless. This is huge to me. Have to say I was impressed. If you happen to be in this area I would highly recommend it. Good prices, cold beer (and drinks) great food, pool table and darts. I never get a tee shirt from a bar but did here due to my experience was so good.“
“Had the pizza. It was delicious..good crust and flavors. Previous visits we had waygu burger, pork chops sandwich; cheeseburgers , onion rings, sour cream and onion ring fries. All excellent. Fish specials also great. Family run, friendly, reasonably priced with a great atmosphere. Can be hard to get to with nearby construction, but worth the drive .“
“I had dinner at the Blackwolf Run with my wife on January 4. This was a memorable experience. All the dishes that we ordered were truly excellent, from the appetizers, to the main courses to the desserts. The chief is quite on target with his creations. We recommend the pork belly appetizer, chicken schnitzel and creme brulee brownie for dessert. Service and ambience to match the quality of the dishes. I most highly recommend.“
