The service was slow and they were not busy when we were there. They did not give us a steak knife (with the steak) or any toppings for the baked potato. We asked for sour cream and got a teaspoon of it. We had to ask for drink refills several times. I never received garlic bread with my alfredo, and they overcharged us $4 per glass of wine. Trattoria di Carlo & Pizzeria is a delightful restaurant with a delicious menu featuring large portions. The garden salad, Caesar salad, cheese curds, garlic bread with marinara sauce, shrimp Alfredo, and cheese, sausage, and pepperoni pizza are all amazing. The October special steak was cooked to perfection, and the Italian beef sandwich was noted as the best in Wisconsin, with delicious bread and juicy meat. Despite a previous service hiccup, the attentive staff made the dining experience enjoyable. The Pinza is a must-try dish, and the Chicken Parm may not stand out, but the tossed salad was delicious. Just ensure to double-check for leftovers before leaving, as every table seems to take home a box. Overall, the staff is friendly and efficient, making it a highly recommended restaurant to visit.
