This place is awesome!! Beef tallow makes a huge difference in fries chicken etc. Luke is awesome as well as the Chef and Emerson. Food is awesome will be back over and over again. Highly recommended.
Great fish fry, a bit limited on beer & wine but they are fixing that.
The fish fry was excellent! Perfectly fried fish and one of the best potato pancakes in the area. The old fashioned drink special tied it all together. This is a great addition to Okauchee.

Roots and Rails is an awesome place, highly recommended. Beef tallow makes a huge difference in fries chicken etc. The fish fry was excellent, with perfectly fried fish and one of the best potato pancakes in the area. The old fashioned drink special tied it all together. The inside is clean and modern, and the screened-in bar area is an amazing viewing spot. The staff is great and the food is amazing. The grouper sandwich is as good as anything you’ll get in Florida. The spinach artichoke dip is the best, rich, creamy, and so good. The pan-fried Brussels sprouts are crispy and packed with flavor. Best tasting French fries. The bar is super clean and aesthetically pleasing. Great food, great vibe. This is a hidden gem, family-owned, and a great addition to Okauchee.
