“I love this place! We had a group of 10. They were quite busy (as usual) For a Monday Night. Menu has actually Dinners. Not just Bar and Grill food like most places in town these days. Food came out fast and hot! Very reasonable prices! Great drinks and superb service. (Franko and Haley). We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!“

“5 stars. Joe is one of a kind. We enjoy the Chalice any day of the week and today we had the chance to host a baby shower there (believe this is a Sunday only thing? FYI). He and his daughter took great care of us, they helped with everything from the minute we walked in. We knew this place was special and today just took it to another level. Thanks for the great food, company, hospitality, and everything you did you make the day special. Know the food is just as special and unique as the people who will serve you when you visit. “I NEED to shout out this restaurant and I WISH I caught the servers name but she wasn’t our server. I came in to eat with my boyfriend and my toddler daughter about a month ago, two weeks after I had a hysterectomy. My daughter needed her diaper changed, I took her to the bathroom then immediately realized I forgot I’m unable to carry or lift her yet. I ran out to ask my boyfriend if we could ask if he could come in just to lift her onto the changing table for me, though he told me to try to ask someone for assistance bc there was also people in the restroom as well. As absolutely EMBARRASSING as that was I kindly asked the man at the front if there was a female available at that moment and I explained the situation for her. She didn’t even hesitate and helped me lift her up onto the changing table. I was so embarrassed but I had literally gotten sepsis already from the surgery and had to also have an extra procedure due to the infection and I couldn’t risk any further near-death experiences from this surgery. She was so sweet and I was so happy with not feeling absolutely judged or looking incapable outside of the circumstances. Thank you!“

“My mom and i went here tonight on February 27th around 6:45. Our waiters name was John. He was very kind and took pride in his job. We ordered the Harley burger. It was absolutely amazing! it had shredded prime rib on a burger patty, with sautéed mushrooms and melted mozzarella! on a pretzel bun with really good aju for dipping. With a side of fries. Definitely an amazing burger and great service. thank you ♡“

“If you’ve never been to TJ’s, it is a beautiful site on Lake Winnebago with good food and superior service. I had a special occasion dinner there with 32 people, and I want to give a shout out to Nicole who served us. she was outstanding she did it flawlessly. So appreciate her efforts to make our night so special all my guest love the venue love the food.“

“Came to this place in 1993, had the best time on my trip of the USA from Australia, took me ages to find my hotel the Pioneer inn, got stuck at the rail crossing with some long train a thought I was never gonna get back to the hotel until the sun came up. Good memories.“

“I’ve decided to try Beckets mostly because they were advertised on Discover Oshkosh as the host of Jazz Night on Wednesdays.
I tried calling to make a reservation but unfortunately my hotel phone didn’t want to cooperate and my UK mobile disliked the idea of dialling US numbers for whatever reason. So instead I chose to email them with the request and to my surprise I’ve received a response within 15 minutes. Well, certainly can’t complain about that!
On arrival we were greeted with a smile and taken to our table.
The decor of the place is rather modern, fairly simple lines and nice colour tones that work well together. Lovely view of the river and good live jazz music on Wednesdays. Toilets, although looking a little bit tired (old tiles that have been painted over) are clean and in good condition.
We were served by young Will and let me tell you something about Will. He’s quite an energetic and enthusiastic young man, very helpful and friendly and certainly knows his local beers! He helped us pick the right beers that went very well with our meals.
The food is very tasty and presented just like you see it in the pictures, it’s like looking at the culinary photoshoot but in real life on your plate right in front of you. Steaks were perfect! And so was the salmon! Chef certainly knows what he’s doing and takes pride in it too! Portions were just right, not too little, not too much.
Overall absolutely fantastic experience!
Let’s face it, Oshkosh as a city hasn’t got much to offer and isn’t really a dream holiday destination but Beckets certainly kicks it up a notch and makes it that much better! In my opinion this restaurant is number 1 in Oshkosh and definitely worth visiting!“
