Lefse like this is hard to find. It is a most beautiful thing to have any time of day.
We stop in for at least to purchase a couple of pies on our way to Glenwood City to visit our daughter and her family. This place is legendary for their pies and atmosphere. The food is also very good. We have been frequenting the restaurant for decades and will continue to do so. The variety of pies there is endless and each one is better than the other. You probably won't just go there once. It is that good.
We had read about Norske Nook's reputation and had to stop while traveling. It was a Sunday around lunchtime and they were busy, so we had a wait to get seated, but it wasn't uncomfortably long. We only had pie and coffee, and the slices of pie were well worth the wait and their reputation. Our server was very friendly and helpful and we were happy we made the stop.
