“This place has the best jalapeño poppers I've ever had. Ate there twice in the 4 days we were in the area. The first time the locals were a bit rambunctious for our group that was half kids but we were very thankful to be out of the crazy rain storm. The second time we ordered Togo and both times the food and service was amazing!“
“Dropped in with my family on the way back from Cable at a cross country ski race. The burgers here are absolutely magnificent… they’re like a “choose your own adventure” book… build it your way! The garlic cheese curds were also of top caliber. The chap who served us was incredibly friendly and kind. It’s beyond the back end of nowhere, but well worth the stop. Oh, the price… great.“
“We just go into town from a 5 hour drive and we’re craving a fish fry. We took a chance because it was late and hungry. We thought they were closed because there was only one car in the parking lot. Surprisingly yes, the kitchen was open. Super quaint and charming inside. Very warm feeling. Staff had outstanding hospitality. Fish fry was superb. Coleslaw was amazing. Pie and cheesecake for dessert. Very pleasant. Would highly recommend. Thank you for refilling my water bottle, as all local stores are closed and too far away.“
“This restaurant serves what may be the very best fried chicken in the United States. We have eaten many times at a “World Famous” chicken restaurant in Memphis that is supposed to have the best chicken in the country, and its chicken (and its French-fried potatoes) can’t compete with The Roundup. Their chicken is perfectly done with a light, well-seasoned coating. Their French fries are thin., crisp, and well seasoned. The chicken comes with really, good coleslaw and rye bread, all for a very reasonable price. The service is good and the people are friendly. This place is a real gem.“
“Good pizza and a great atmosphere to watch the game! Service was friendly too. They offered a nice free appetizer when we went to watch the Green Bay game and offered shots whenever the Packers scored which made for a fun time. Highly recommend.“
