Prime rib was excellent! Definitely recommend calling ahead for reservations if you’re coming over the weekend.

Phelps Hillside Restaurant offers a classic North Woods supper club vibe with a casual dress code and no expectation to dress up. The food is always good, with prime rib described as excellent and absolutely amazing. The salad bar is great, cold, and fresh, and the homemade soup is always delicious and top notch. Other favorites include the artichoke dip, burger, French dip, perch, steak, walleye, and Reubens, which are very lean. The Brandy Old Fashion is great. Servers are friendly, on top of everything, and work as a team to give great service. Prices are very reasonable. The lake view is beautiful. Reservations are recommended on weekends, and signs would help because the restaurant can be difficult to find.
