“Tailgates have never been more fun. When I went to UW-Platteville, Boondocks was a favorite. $0.50 beer night was welcomed because of our financial status. It was great to go back after so many years and be able to enjoy and remember the bar like it was during my 20s. However, this particular night the bartender was very inattentive. Maybe because I'm old and married, but I got passed over more than a few times for other drink orders. It wasn't overly busy or hectic, maybe 20-some in the bar at the time. Fun nonetheless.“

“Great home town bar with a small menu and daily specials. Friday, they have fried Bluegill (bream) which is great! Pool table, dart board and juke box. Note tables are all bar height so not wheelchair friendly. Has picnic table seating in back outdoors also.“
