“Hands down, the BEST restaurant I've been to in the Milwaukee area. Merica was our server and she was simply the best- friendly, professional, funny, and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Our food was phenomenal, we ordered seconds of the Jamaican goat and the duck wontons. The restaurant offered to let us sample the fall dessert menu ahead of time for free, this was the best restaurant experience I've ever had, you've got a life long customer from here on out. “Service was a little slow at first but they were busy on a Saturday night. From the Shrimp and Crab dip to the Walleye Fish Fry and the Black Raspberry Manderin Martinis everything was fantastic. “We had a lovely experience on the beautiful, secluded patio for my husband's birthday. Our server was Maya, who took very good care of us, and timed our shared plates just right. We had the crab stuffed poblano pepper (delicious), 6 oysters on the half shell (very fresh!) also the tuna sashimi dish, which was outstanding, and the duck tenderloin which was my favorite, and was accompanied with an Asian-inspired slaw. “I didn't have any food. But they have karaoke on Saturday nights. Which is always fun. Watching the different groups of people. Having fun and making fools of them self. While others trie so hard. That's what makes it fun for all. Roger's had a good mix of people on Saturday. So there was a wide range of songs being sung. With everyone having a good time.“

“I’m near Racine fairly often and tried Toad Hall last month. Nothing fancy - which is what one should expect from an authentic British/Irish pub style neighborhood restaurant. First visit I had the Ooomommy burger, tots, and a Magners cider. Everything was perfect right down to the cider. Last night I had Fish and Chips and a dry Strongbow cider. The cod was crisp in its beer batter and the fries were good (but not as good as those tots). I was intrigued by the menu description of the Coffee Stout Chili so took a bowl to go and had it for dinner just now. It’s one of the BEST chili’s I’ve ever had and that includes my homemade chili. Just the right level of spicy. Both visits the service was friendly and good. Last night it was very busy and the server who was also bartending apologized for a gap in getting back to take my food order. She explained was due to “making four Old Fashioneds and needing to get them just right.” Well duh, it’s Wisconsin and you need to get the Old Fashioneds right!” I will definitely return to Toad Hall my next trip to Racine. No food pictures because it was too good.“
