3 of us had the fish fry last night. 2 of us had the lobster bisque that tasted nothing like a bisque, the 3rd had the chicken noodles soup which had an off taste. The fish was ok, but greasy. 2 had dessert - one key lime pie which was ok, the other had creme brulee that was not caramelized at all, in fact tasted like they dusted the top with flour. It was sent back and taken off the bill. Hostess and wait staff were excellent, but food quality was a disappointment.
I ordered the 6 oz filet and lobster tail with garlic mashed potatoes. The lobster was really good. The filet was bland and tough. The garlic mashed potatoes contained NO GARLIC. My husband ordered the garlic medallions...no garlic. he also ordered the salt encrusted baked potato. No salt was on this baked potato! We could have made a better baked potato in our microwave. the Sunday buffet was wonderful. not your usual brunch buffet. different types of great dishes. but the best thing we experienced was the great service from ALL the staff. a special thumbs up for our waitress Tiffany. she was Awesome!!
